INTRODUCTION ABOUT MELACARE FORTE CREAM
MELACARE FORTE CREAM is a combination of Hydroquinone, Tretinoin, Mometasone furoate which belongs to the group of medicines called Depigmenting agents, Retinoids and Corticosteroids respectively. It is used in adults for the management of moderate to severe melasma (dark spots on the skin) in association with sun-avoidance measures, like using sunscreens and wearing protective clothing. Melasma is one of the most frequently acquired hyperpigmentation (excess melanin production) disorders with symptoms such as symmetrical brown patches on sun exposed areas mainly on face.
It is advised to avoid exposure to sun during management with MELACARE FORTE CREAM for better results. While going out apply sunscreens and wear full covering protective clothes. Before using MELACARE FORTE CREAM inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney, lung or heart diseases.
Safety and efficacy of MELACARE FORTE CREAM is not established in pregnant women and in children below 12 years of age. Ask for your doctor’s advice before using. MELACARE FORTE CREAM should be used with caution in breastfeeding women. The most common side effects of using MELACARE FORTE CREAM are mild burning, stinging, redness and dryness. Consult your doctor if any of the symptoms worsen or doesn’t improve.
