- Herbolax is an Ayurvedic formulation of Himalaya without any knlown side effects to relieve constipation.

Relieves constipation: The natural ingredients in Herbolax soften the stool and enhance intestinal motility, which relieve acute and chronic constipation effectively. Due to its laxative property, the drug assists excretion without upsetting the fluid-electrolyte balance (mineral and water balance) in the body. Herbolax is non-habit forming and does not result in physiological dependence.

Other actions: For effective preradiographic bowel preparation, Herbolax in conjunction with Himalaya’s Gasex, eliminates gas shadows, ensures better radiological interpretation and avoids repeated exposures.

- Trivrit – Ipomoea Turpethum
- Haritaki – Terminalia Chebula
- Kasani – Cichorium Intybus
- Kasmard – Cassia Occidentalis
- Kakamachi – Solanum Nigrum
- Licorice (Yashtimadhu) – Glycyrrhiza Glabra
- Ginger (Sonth) – Zingiber officinale
- Vaividang – Embelia Ribes
Indications of Herbolax Capsule
The main indication for Herbolax is constipation. It is used in following cases.
- Mild Acute Constipation
- Chronic Constipation
- Pre-radiographic bowel preparation – it helps eliminating gas shadows – Used with Gasex
- Constipation during non-ambulatory periods
- Constipation during postoperative periods
Dosage of Herbolax Capsule
- To be taken 2 to 3 Capsules after meal preferably with lukewarm water
