INTRODUCTION ABOUT FUDIC BNF CREAM
FUDIC BNF CREAM is a combination of Beclomethasone and Fusidic acid which belongs to the group of medicines called Corticosteroids and Antibiotics respectively. It is used to manage specific skin infections caused by typical bacteria such as impetigo, folliculitis, eczema and seborrehic dermatitis.
Impetigo is a skin infection that causes blisters or sores on the face, neck, hands and diaper area. Folliculitis is a common skin condition that happens when hair follicles become inflamed.
Seborrehic dermatitis is a skin condition that causes scaly patches and red skin, mainly on the scalp. Atopic dermatitis (eczema) is a condition that causes dry, itchy and inflamed skin. It is common in young children but can occur at any age.
Do not apply FUDIC BNF CREAM on your eyes or face. Avoid using FUDIC BNF CREAM for a long time. Do not use FUDIC BNF CREAM under bandages.
FUDIC BNF CREAM is not recommended for use in patients allergic to Beclomethasone or Fusidic acid.
FUDIC BNF CREAM is not recommended for use in patients with other skin infections caused by bacteria or virus.
Avoid concomitant use of other topical medicines and steroids while on management with FUDIC BNF CREAM.
It is not recommended for use in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Consult your doctor for advice before using FUDIC BNF CREAM. It should be used with caution in children above 6 years of age.
FUDIC BNF CREAM should be used with caution in elder patients. Consult your doctor before using. The most common side effects of FUDIC BNF CREAM are itching, skin rash, stretch marks, skin discoloration and thinning of the skin. Consult your doctor if any of the above side effects gets worse.
